Itch-Ease Salve is a handy first aid remedy for itchy skin.
Jewelweed is well known for soothing itchy, irritated skin caused by poison ivy or poison oak.
Chickweed calms hot or inflamed skin conditions that bring redness, itchiness, and irritation to the skin
Plantain is one of the most useful and most common weeds (not the banana) that you may come across, alongside dandelion of course! This plant is great at drawing out toxicity from the body as well as aiding in stings, bites, boils, bruises, or skin eruptions and because of this it makes a great poultice when used fresh. It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-toxic properties as well.
Echinacea helps heal infections and is an effective home remedy for a variety of insect bites and stings.
Saint John's-wort is great for easing pain while soothing nerves. This herb has vulnerary (healing) and anti-inflammatory properties that help promote healing and soothing the pain associated with burns, cuts, wounds, insect bites, as well as bruises and sprains.
